Handmade with love in Peru ♥

These are very special hand-made shamanic rattle/shaker instrument, made by Shipibo people in Peru's Amazon Jungle. These traditional rattles are a key element in shamanic work and plant medicine ceremonies. The head of this rattle is made of a Huingo seed, the handle part is made of Chonta wood, and the top part is decorated with feathers.

Each rattle is similar in size and tone, and each is made with the same materials and basic adornments. As it is a natural leather casing, some are more white and some are a bit more natural, or mixed in color.

The tone of each of these is mid-range and gentle, ideal for musical accompaniment, singing, and more.
