25g per package | Sustainably harvested in Mexico
This White Copal Resin is sourced traditionally and with care from the Bursera bipinnata tree, native to Mexico and Central America. Known as Copalli in Nahuatl, the sacred language of the Mexica peoples, Copal has been burned in ritual fires across Mesoamerica for thousands of years. It is considered a bridge between the worlds—a vessel for prayer, a purifier of energy, and a sacred offering to the Divine.
Copal is the smoke that speaks. In many traditions, it is said that the rising smoke of Copal carries our intentions to the heavens, connecting matter and spirit, the living and the ancestral realms. The Maya offered it to the Sun God, often burned on golden plates as a gesture of reverence, while other Indigenous peoples used it in every rite of passage—from birth to death—as a way to sanctify space and call in spirit.
This resin is raw and unprocessed—its crystalline, golden-white pieces can be burned over charcoal to release its signature bright, citrusy, and cleansing aroma.

Traditionally, children were once protected with small pouches of Copal worn around the neck to guard their health and spirit.
