Punku Necklace. A ceremonial brass pendant carrying the Punku, the Portal, from the stone of Chavín de Huántar.

Chavín is one of the mother cultures of the Andes, a ceremonial centre in the Peruvian highlands more than three thousand years old. The Punku is one of its oldest symbols: a jawless face with serpents where speech would be, framed by two cords woven without end.

The portal is the place where what cannot be said still reaches us. Worn close to the heart, Punku becomes a quiet companion for the thresholds you move through. A face transformed, vibration where words end.

Each piece is drawn in Peru, in consultation with teachers in Áncash, and handcrafted in Bali by metalsmiths who shape each piece in wax before casting in brass. 5% of every sale returns to Yarpakuti Chawpin, the organisation in Áncash that keeps this tradition alive.

Each piece arrives in a KANTU pouch, with a story card and a care card.

Materials: solid brass. Chain length approximately 45 cm.

Adornment as Remembrance.
